This is really just a page to put my programs on as I write them.

You can download them and use them if you like.

I first started programming in 1982 on a Sinclair ZXSpectrum with 48k of memory which seemed like a lot in those days.Then I switched to a BBCModelB(32k) in about 1992 (it was second hand and pretty old), and had to relearn basic as BBC basic was a bit more sophisticated than the speccys.

After that we had a Commodore Amiga1200 which was a lovely machine for graphic work.I learnt AMOS basic on that and began writing programs for the kids to use.Sadly there was not a lot of educational software for the Amiga so when we started homeschooling we bought our first P.C.

I have written programs in QBasic which if you have a P.C. comes on your windows disc in the olddos drawer and is a really easy and fun language to learn .

I also write in Visual Basic and I am slowly learning C++.

Shopping2.zip This is a new version of the prog that lets you choose your shopping list from a long list of items and then prints out your choices.In this version you can save your own lists and edit the default lists.

Walk the plank.zip ..This is a spelling game with a fun Element.You must make the pirates walk the plank by spelling the words correctly. You can win a certificate and print it!It has sound but only seems to work on some sound cards.It works without the sound too.

Dressup-dollsThis is the second version of a doll dressing program I wrote for my 10 yearold.It has boy and girl dolls to dress by clicking the clothes.You can also print out the dolls and their clothes to cut out and play with.The earlier version had drag and drop but this was a little haphazard and proved frustrating in use.Ive also added some new clothes including a wizard/witch school uniform.

Consequences This program is just what it says,a game of consequences you can play on your PC.You can modify the files so that they are more relevant to you.Instruction file included.16k

Alarm clock This is an alarm clock! You can type in the time you want it to go off at and it will play any wave you choose from your pc,until you turn it off! Good for getting you out of bed.
